USA Trump 'Madman Theory' How Unpredictability Is Shaping Global Power Dynamics
All he has done is to show America is untrustworthy. Canada has now turned to Europe for defense and energy contracts, Steel and Aluminium once earmarked for the USA is now headed for Europe ( export increase of 346%) and Asia. Jet fighter procurement's from Sweden, Radar from the UK, subs from Germany. Meanwhile American companies bemoan a lack of high grade steel and special aluminium from Canada as well as Canadian oil, American refineries are adapted to Canadian, not American crude, the oil is heading to China while Europe takes Canadian LNG instead of American. Trumps tariffs have created a void that Asia and Europe are willing to fill. 5 large American firms have already relocated to Canada due to tariff instability. America has lost its leadership role under Trump, supply chains are being adjusted away from American influence, Greenland being a good example, the arrogance Trump showed towards Denmark and Greenland opened the door to mineral contracts being awarded to Canada and Europe, while China is expanding into Africa. American isolationism is going to be expensive. -

Report Cannabis Advocates Warn of Economic Damage from Policy Shift
What's the problem...anyone that needs weed for medicinal purposes and can get a legitimate prescription won't be affected. Of course, those that want it for other more unorthodox purposes will just have to go somewhere else or risk being arrested and imprisoned -

Report Cannabis Advocates Warn of Economic Damage from Policy Shift
Thailand’s potential U-turn on cannabis legalization (post-2022) risks severe societal harm: **1. Economic Collapse & Unemployment** Shutting legal cannabis shops would destroy livelihoods overnight. Thousands of business owners, staff, and farming communities—many in tourism-heavy areas—face financial ruin, pushing families into poverty. **2. Prison Overcrowding & Corruption** Re-criminalizing cannabis would jail non-violent users, straining Thailand’s prisons. Meanwhile, police could exploit prohibition for bribes, reviving cycles of corruption seen in past drug crackdowns. **3. Public Health Crisis** Prohibition pushes users to unregulated markets, increasing risks of harder drug use (e.g., methamphetamine). Bans may also spike alcohol consumption, raising road accidents and addiction rates. **4. Black Markets & Crime Surge** Organized crime would dominate cannabis trade, inflating prices and incentivizing theft, armed robberies, and violence. Illegal markets thrive under prohibition—see Mexico’s drug war parallels. **5. Tourism & Global Reputation** Thailand’s progressive cannabis policies drew medical tourists and boosted its image. Recriminalization could deter visitors, especially as rivals like Germany embrace legalization. **6. Family & Social Strain** Mass arrests and unemployment fracture families, while crime waves erode community safety. Recriminalization solves nothing—it fuels crime, corruption, and inequality. Thailand should refine regulations, not revive failed prohibition. -

Advise on buying a BYD car.
Yes EV's just aren't worth the extra money and hassle especially now that these hybrid's have improved so much. 1,000 baht can get you 1000 km, save a ton of money.
