Body of second victim of boat capsize in Bang Tabun Bay recovered

The search for a second passenger, missing after a tour boat was struck by a waterspout and capsized, ended last evening (Sunday) when his body was recovered from the water near a pier, behind Pak Lad Temple in Bang Tabun Bay in Ban Laem district of Phetchaburi province.

Pattaya — Pattaya police are reportedly preparing to charge a Russian man they believe is linked to the fatal fall of his Russian girlfriend on Sunday for homicide after reviewing CCTV footage of the incident which appears to show the man holding the woman by her legs from his balcony.

Red Line suburban train service to start at 5am from Tuesday

Bangkok’s Red Line suburban train service will begin daily operations half an hour earlier, at 5am, from tomorrow (Tuesday) and will increase the train frequency from every 12 minutes to 10 minutes from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7.30pm.

Thailand has reported its first monkey pox related fatality, in a man who was also infected with HIV and syphilis, according to Dr. Tares Krassanairawiwong, director-general of the Disease Control Department.

25.7 million baht from donation account approved in aid of Muno explosion victims

The total amount of monetary donations for victims of the disaster has now exceeded 30 million baht, prompting the provincial administration to set up a committee to plan for the money’s use.

ONCB warns against newer varieties of “happy water”

Sellers are reportedly adding collagen or electrolytes to the mix to increase the appeal of the liquids and to claim that they are beneficial to health.
