Google told me that there is a long term parking at 140 baht per day.

Anyone who know if this parking is covered, secured, and how far from international departure and arrival terminal?

Yes that is what I found also, but if someone who is familiar with this long term parking, could tell me if it is under a roof, and some more info on the distance from the terminals and the frequency of the shuttle bus.

I one missed a flight in my home country, because the long term parking was many kilometres from the terminal, and shuttle bus only every 30 minutes

I need to park the car for 20 days.

A couple of years ago the operator at long-term parking  told me there is some kind of 1 month ticket, cost 1000b.

Anyone know about it?

Long term parking is per day only at 250b per day, right?

How do you pre-pay for this and also do you get a receipt (needed for a business claim).

Any update on this?  Is the Long-term parking still 140 baht a day?  How does one find it and how reliable and easy is the shuttle from the car park to the terminal?

Bump.

  • Does 'long term' parking have to be booked in advance, or do you just turn up?
  • Which long term car park do you use (there appear to be three)?
  • How frequent/easy is the shuttle/bus to the terminal once you've parked?

From my own research. I intend to park at car park zone 2 or 3 which is just across the terminal(less than 100m walk) All zone from 2-7 can park full day at 250b/per day. If i go away for more than 8 days, i think getting a taxi to and from airport is better cost wise. Assuming one is from Pattaya or nearer. I remember the last time i parked there, they issue a small hardly readable receipt. Best is to check with them.

Thanks. I've used the short-term parking many times, but this time I'll be away for longer, so I'm considering using the long-term parking which is 140 baht a day, instead of 250 baht.

The airport information makes no mention of whether you need to make a reservation or can just turn up, or how and when payment is made.  There is also little information about how to access the lots and whether they are related to the terminal you're flying from, the accessibility of the shuttle, how frequent it is, and how long to allow between parking and checking in.

Was hoping someone might use it regularly, but perhaps you're right and a taxi would be better!

How is it easy to find place available in the short term parking? I am traveling a lot for short trip domestically and international. My main concern is about the time to find a place to park.

for example, i am going to Phuket tomorrow evening, come back to bkk Sunday evening, then going to Philippines Monday afternoon and coming back to bkk Tuesday night.

i am doing such trip very often and bored using taxi.

I've always found one eventually but it can be frustrating especially as everyone double parks.  A lot depends on the time and whether it's a busy holiday period.

I've given up on the idea of long-term parking as no one seems to know anything about it.  Will take a taxi.

I tried anyway last night. It was ok but bit stressful indeed. I tried the parking zone 4 and it was very pack. Turn around 20 minutes but luckily found someone who was leaving. I was already considering what would happen if i missed my flight…

so i think, i will keep using the taxi as my schedule is always very tight.
