My Laptop Shuts Down Automatically While Burning A Dvd -

Featured Replies

I have experienced now a serious Problem with my Laptop:

since I have removed and installed a new Software to burn DVDs, my Computer shuts automatically down, after having created a DVD Folder to burn the Movie - what means, just before burning, it shuts down ( showing certain words, but too fast to read them ).

Anyone has an Explanation and can find me a Way out of this Problem?

I use "Cyberlink-DVD-Producer" to burn DVDs, what took before a long Time to burn 1 DVD - is this "normal" by the Way?

Another Question is (was) : when I started to burn a Video, what showed me 34O MB on my PC - the Datas increased to over 2 GB in my Burningroom .... How can this happen?

Dump the Cyerlink software. Nero is all you need.

This may - or may not be related to your problem, but I had a issue with .Avi files closing Windows Explorer. The cure - which has taken me weeks to discover, was to turn off thumbnails in folder options. Apparently if you have it turned on, it'll produce a thumbnail from the avi file in question. Fine if it succeeds, but if it can't, a message that 'Windows Explorer needs to close' appears....and does just that!
