Just wondering whether this involved the military brotherhood across the 2 countries.

 

I guess others noticed the short video a month back of prayut rushing to greet and give a long hug to the nasty violent vicious military leader/dictator runnng myanmar.

The deeper influence and manipulated strings of militarism is still very much part and parcel of the government/establishment make up - regardless of the mock civilian governments and the faux elections. 

 

Been the essence of the ruling elite for ages. 

Someone help me out here.  From the linked Irrawaddy article:

 

The court suspended the sentences of all defendants except Punnaphat, who requested bail.

TLHR later reported that Punnaphat was granted bail after posting 150,000 baht as security.

 

Does that mean the sentence is suspended and they're free unless they do something wrong, or that they're released to get their affairs in order before they have to show up at the prison?
