Paetongtarn Shinawatra said on Tuesday that her father, Thaksin, who is receiving medical treatment at the Police General Hospital, is still under stress and suffering the after effects of COVID-19.

Paetongtarn was speaking at a press conference at Pheu Thai headquarters after visiting her father on Monday.

“My father is suffering from fatigue, as you could see when he returned to Thailand on August 22. He is under a lot of stress.”

She claimed she had learnt at the same time as the media that Thaksin had been transferred from the Corrections Department to the Police General Hospital.

“In 2020, my father was infected with COVID-19 which, at that time, lacked medication to treat it. He was in the ICU for nine days and lost about 10 kilogrammes,” she said.

Her father tried to exercise when he was free of the virus, but this was a challenge at 74 years old, plus he was stressed.

He 100% tried to not go, but his brakes failed.

Really?

Imagine someone living in luxury with the perfectly designed mansion, the perfect temperature, perfect food and lots of servants. And then that someone goes to jail, because he is a convicted criminal.

Yes, for someone who until last week was living a luxury life jail might be unwelcome stress.

There is a solution: Get used to it!

He should go back to Dubai.

He probably expected to be pardoned within 72 hours.

The stress comes from not knowing if the deal he made for no jail time will fall through or not.

(pardon pending)

I'm sure his recovery will preceed much quicker in the confines of his family compound.

Thaksin Stressed, Fatigued, Says His Daughter

image.jpeg

BANGKOK, (TNA) – Paetongtarn “Ung Ing” Shinawatra, head of the Pheu visited her father jailed former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra at the Police General Hospital for the second day.

After the visit, she returned to the Pheu Thai Party, disclosing that Mr. Thaksin has been feeling fatigued and under stress since arriving in Thailand. This is a result of having contracted the first of COVID-19 detected in Wuhan.

Now, the most worrying condition is his heart, she said. However, there has been no plan to transfer him to a private hospital. As for the request for royal pardon, it will be left to the discretion of her father.

I suspect his solution will be to restore his life to one of luxury. And I suspect he will get it done too.

BOO-HOO........! cry me a river.

Note to Paetongtarn ........... The Covid cop out is old and tired, worn out, just doesn't cut it anymore. Have Daddy speak to his handlers to dream up a new line.

I'm older than yo are Mr. Thaksin and walk my dog at a brisk pace some 15 or 20 km every day, rain or shine, warm or cold. Yeah, I get a bit tired in the evening. But no need for a bunch of doctors and/or hospital stays. Just get up and do it again the next day. The only thing missing for me is a small chunk of your billions, then, life would be perfect for me. Get yourself a dog (if you get a pardon).

  • Popular Post

"fatigue", and "stress" but no objective medical data showing a medical problem but likely good enough for a pardon.
