Constitutionally, i inderstand, they are required to declare their assets but don't hold your breath waiting.

Nothing to do with the constitution. Jurisdiction for assets declaration is with the NACC and fat chance of getting Prayut and Prawit to declare. Using his special executive power, he and members of this cabinet were exempted.

Thinking about these resignations especially Prayuth and toady, will they now have to declare how much they made in 9yrs of theft of have they managed to pardon themselves on that too?

Does it matter so long as they're not in power any more.

Enjoy your retirement old man and finally make room for 3 generations of younger politicians...Thailand owes it to you!

Are you shure? Thought he would be better in "Angry Birds".

Palang Pracharath party (PPRP) leader Gen. Prawit Wongsuwon says he will resign as an MP soon.

Don't forget to take all of your dead friend's watches with you.  ????

Great news - another dinosaur heading for extinction!

Well I was wrong. I seriously thought he would end up as pm.

IMO dinosaur politician says bye.

I wonder if the NACC has tipped him off that they can't cover for him any longer so he'd better make himself scarce. Dubai maybe?

Retirement watch as a presentation by any chance?

Long overdue.

Duplicate post.

Duplicate post - must be having a "Prawit moment "!

Then of course there is the new Senate to be formed "soon".

I presume he was a "party list" MP, so no need for the embarrassment of finding out just what the voters think in a bye election!

He’s in no danger. He is military. They run the show.

There are other forces at work now.

They need to get Thaksin back to prison first and I can't see that happening.

If you say so. I have no information.

It’s not going to happen. He will get a Royal Pardon and that will be the end of it. Thaksin and the “highest institution” have been close for quite a while.

Good for Prawit, then he will have enough time and can wind up all his wristwatches in his free time.

And will  he too give us a 'Long Goodbye'?

His job is done now, he played a prominent role in getting Thaksin back
