Take some time out, have some quiet time by yourself, and contemplate the wrong direction your life has taken you so far.

One of your most awful comments.

What is awful with the comment. You are like most of the other readers here, and do not understand the meaning. As I already written in another answer, I never stated he should not defend his wife. Only quickly think about how to deal with the situation. Again, that could have saved his life.

What I gather from the linked article is that the husband stepped in to prevent his pregnant wife from being stabbed (possibly to death).   He is dead, but his wife and child were saved. "He

  • Heroic!? Sure he should defend his wife, but at the same time probably did it without really figuring it out.

My point was not if do or not do. Of course he should do. Never said anything else. My point was the need to quickly figure out how o deal with the situation. That could have saved his life.

Not even a good try at a rebuttal.

Nor was there a point to your post.

Whilst figuring out what to do may have cost him his wife and unborn child. He acted on instinct, without thinking of his own safety.

He didn't have time to think about what he should or shouldn't do.

He did what any normal man whose wife was being attacked would do. He put his own life on the line and saved his pregnant wife.

Sadly at the cost of his own. I admire what he did, and would like to think that if he survived he would do the same again.

I am proud of his heroism.

There is no need for rebuttal. As I posted, never said he did anything wrong. Only that a quick assessment of the situation could have made the difference. That takes about 1-2 seconds, and possible to do when moving towards a crazy person.

Keep on digging that hole you are in.

If you don't believe me, not that I care, go back and read all of the thread again, and see what other people think of your posts.

Quick thinking would have saved you from posting lots of nonsense in this topic. Alas.

Yes, as well as general thinking could have saved you from reading things you do not want.

We share something else too.

I wrote straight from my heart in my first post. I assume that you did too.

There is the difference between us.

I don't need to change any of my opinion or words as you have.

When most people disagree with your view, shouldn't you consider the possibility that you were wrong.

Or, is everyone out of step - except you?

Never said I am right, as there are mostly to sides to a coin. What I have done is to talk about a possibility and my opinion. I am free to my opinion and you as well as others are free to have theirs.
