Tried to do the pre order today but the option wasn’t available in Thailand, though it is available in the US.

My Samsung Android phone has the state of the art USB-c port. Pretty much been the standard for years for everything other than Apple. I guess Apple figured they've already fleeced their users by making them buy the proprietary lightning cables.

They were actually forced to by the EU which signed off on a new law which forced manufactures of all phones to utilise USB-C for all phones sold in the EU from 2024.

Anyone who still goes out to buy the new scam iPhone needs their head examining. So many new Android phones are just as good, if not superior, at a fraction of the cost.  This latest rip off, at what, 33,000 Baht is a prime example. People with more money than sense will still get ripped off by Apple until they all come to their senses, or unless they are 15 year old Japanese/Korean girls', who never learn anything useful.

Unfortunately, this also means that Apple can't charge their cult members top dollars any more for a cable that only can be used on their China built phones, so I guess this will have to be compensated with an increase of the device price

To each their own…iPhone has features unavailable with other phones. Androids are great for anyone who prefers those devices same with iPhones. So who freaking cares about who likes what and spends their own money on whatever…geez Louise

Instead of posting a dumb, irrelevant response, which admittedly is your usual response to most things,  how about informing us all why this iPhone is any better than those before it, or better than say  a bog standard Oppo 37 at 8,000.  Come on genius, let's hear your informed view.

Having had an Android for the last 7 years, I will buy an Iphone 15 Pro Max. It's just ridiculous how much status you gain in Asia with it. It's like yeah sure, you can drive a Fortuner, but BMW/Mercedes gives you status and hands down, if you are in the dating market, you need status. Sure, except for the guys living in the woods and delusional guys thinking "what I care about what others think".
