Great.

Let's reverse the Trump tax cuts for billionaires.

Non of which was due to any of Trump’s policies.   He rode in on a wave of prosperity created by Obama and was kicked out screaming and yelling with the economy in tatters.

  • While he was serving his one miserable term, Ivanka and Jarrod where making a fortune, as was little Don Don Jr, Big Donzo did'nt build that damn wall but the Trump Organization laughed all the way to

  • “He didn’t build a damn thing,”   That's not true. What about the wall? He would have finished it if Mexico had paid its bill.

One piece of Biden infrastructure I DO like is his recent decision to build a border wall on the southern border. Who woulda thought that would be a good idea....

Facts matter. The wall fund allocated during Trump’s term have to be spent by law. Congress repeatably refused to rescind the funds and the current administration is compelled to follow the law.

Of course Trump will try milk this like you but the facts speak for itself. Good try though

Joe said "not one more foot of wall" when he was campaigning in 2020. After he won, he had TWO YEARS of full Democratic control of both Houses to do something. He chose not to.

Now, 2 months from the deadline, he suddenly is stirred into action, kicking and screaming.  Not to mention waiving TWENTY SIX federal laws to facilitate the construction.  Mere coincidence that this comes at a time when Blue cities and states are screaming about the vast numbers of illegal aliens crowding their streets and consuming resources.

His own Homeland Security said,

“There is presently an acute and immediate need to construct physical barriers and roads in the vicinity of the border of the United States in order to prevent unlawful entries into the United States in the project areas.”

Kinda hard for them to talk out of both sides of their mouths so fast.

Comprehension seem your problem. This is about the President’s policy on physical wall which has not deviated. Border wall is not the answer. The fund has to be spent compelled by law. Only sections to the border wall will be added. Trump’s wall remain his wet dream

Thank you Joe for that big beautiful wall.

So, a wall is not the answer. WHich is why Mayorkas said that a wall was needed.  Got it.

And why Congress did nothing for 2 years to divert the funding.  Sure.

It's normal to maintain or expand walls in trafficked areas near cities.

Trump wanted to build a wall out where nobody tried to cross.

We are talking about the President ‘s stance on border wall, not opinion from Mayorkas.

The Supreme Court 5-4 votes defied  Congress to spend more than the $6 billion diverted from military funds.

So, "not ONE MORE FOOT of wall", really means "25 miles of wall if we need it".  OK.

Be honest. This issue is starting to sting the Democrats. Most Americans think Trump would do a better job on immigration than Biden. So he is copying Trump's policy.  Nothing wrong with that- just compare the numbers under the two and the results are clear.

Trump's policy was to build a wall that was 1954 miles long. Are you claiming that is Biden's plan as well?

Nope.

Not one foot of Trump's wall, but fixing or extending the old wall is reasonable. You do know that Clinton, Bush and Obama put up a barrier in key locations. TRUMP wanted a different wall.

Let's increase funding for IRS inspectors, to recover money from millionaire tax cheats.

Not true. In many places, Biden was closing gaps and extending the sections built under Trump. But that isn't important.

The President didn't say, "not one more foot of Trump's wall". He said "There will not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration, Not 1,"

Joe lied.

Meh.

Once in office, Biden was privy to information not available when he was a candidate. So, he was informed of a spot that was now needing a wall, and he approved a small area for construction.

Any reasonable person would do that.

Not a big deal.

Isn't the present bit being built in the place that Trump wanted to build it? Is nobody crossing there?

I think Trump wanted a wall the entire length of the border, which would include places no one is crossing. The reason for that is if there are gaps, the illegals will go to the gaps to cross.

Oh dear, oh dear :cheesy:.

Did you miss that Biden DIDN'T want to build it, but he HAD to?

Biden has frequently quipped “infrastructure week” was nothing more than a punchline during the Trump administration

Would this be the pot calling the kettle black.  Seems to me Joe was part of this administration that stood on its soap box touting economic stimulus and infrastructure spending.

Now was the money spent, sure.  However as Nobel Prize economist Milton Friedman said, the problem with government programs is that they are graded based on their intentions not their results.  Remember the catch phrase, roads, schools, and bridges.  Well the money was pissed away and the roads, schools, and bridges are still in disrepair.  Voters unfortunately only remember the promises not the actual performance.

Democratic administration prior to Biden built walls where necessary.

Trump wanted to build an unnecessary wall. Biden was referring to Trump's wall, not the routine barriers such as those built before Trump.

Ever post when the price of gas comes down under Democrats?

Excuseism 101... pretty soon Joe will say building the wall was his idea... 555

Even if that were true (and it is debatable), why would that be 'miserable'?  The facts are the facts, regardless how they came about.

As for the economy  being 'in tatters', there WAS a small intervening event in 2020, as you may recall... if not for the 'intervening event' the Bad Orange Man may well have been re-elected as well.

Americans and more importantly the voters KNOW and trust the one person to manage the economy and it sure isn't Biden. The writing is all over the internet wall.

I would but it hasn't ever happened... it does not count when you are responsible for policies that increase price then adjust your wrong policies in order to lower the price... but it is still a higher price than it was before you policied it up... and the fact that you accept that fact is sad... sad for America... sad for Americans.
