Hi , ive got some MPEG Audio Layer-3 audio music files on my computer

and ive tried to burn them to a Cd and play them on my

Car audio player ( it should play CD, DVD, Mp3 , VCD )

but the cd ive burnt won't play on my car unit, so I want to try

and convert the mp3 to conventional Audio CD's and then

burn it to CD's and try that , so can any one please

recommend a free ware program that is easy to use

and would do the converting..?

I use the Nero program that came free with my DVD burner. The CD player in my car won't play MP3 but Nero burns the MP3 format music on my computer to audio format just fine.

dbpoweramp does the job for me everytime.

iTunes - free and easy.

1 - In itunes, select preferences->advanced->burning and set it to audio CD (I think it's the default but just make sure)

2 - Create a playlist with the tracks for your CD

3 - click the "burn" icon in the upper right corner

Done.

iTunes is also a great mp3 player. I would recommend it for general use, with one exception: If your mp3 collection doesnt have proper id3 tags (name, artist, album) then iTunes won't work.
