Thailand – Tharina Botes, a 26-year-old South African-Thai woman was crowned Miss Thailand World 2023.

The Miss Thailand World 2023 beauty pageant final round was held on Sunday night (October 1st) in Bangkok.

 

Tharina is nicknamed ‘Kanom’. Her father is South African and her mother is Thai. She started her beauty pageant career at 13-years-old. In 2019, she represented Miss Grand from Phuket. In 2021 she was the first runner up in Miss Universe Thailand.

As she have Thai nationality, she fulfill that according to the law.

As laughable as a black woman becoming miss Ireland, which she did.

Man, with all the beautiful Thai women i saw, why is that the elect dawgs to represent Thailand, even my maid can do better.. 

Just goes to show that we live in a global world space where anyone can aspire and achieve greatness in different countries if they work hard.

You don't have to wonder, the answer is obvious. 

She's nothing special. I've slept with better looking woman than her in Pattaya.

I think she is just not quite as photogenic in some of the photos.

Yes, usually high or drunk, rarely whilst sober.

All these contestants look the same to me, with all that cosmetic surgery, botox, the same smile and cheeks about to explode from whatever filler material they inject. How do judges even differentiate them? How do the countries even matter?

 

I really don't understand this because one sees exceptionally attractive girls on a daily basis, but they are more natural looking and unique.

 

This contest is more about a specific kind of appearance I believe. I guess it's sponsored by beauty clinics and botox brands. ????

Beauty is a thing that fades away in time . you marry one , you will realize soon that her beauty comes from hours spent in front of a mirror , what tells a lot about her character as well ...

I don't know but would assume that it would be quite dissapointing for her if she were to read some of the comments posted here and from everybody that has not even met her.

Tharina Botes, a 26-year-old Thai-South African model from Phuket has been confirmed to participate in Miss Thailand World 2023 pageant.

 

No stranger to pageantry, she won her first title way back in 2014 when was proclaimed Miss Teen Gauteng. Two years later, she went on to represent South Africa at Miss International 2016 in Tokyo, Japan.

 

The University of South Africa graduate with a degree in commerce and economics, joined Miss South Africa 2018 in Pretoria where she finished in the Top 12.

 

She went to Bangkok, Thailand to represent Phuket at Miss Grand Thailand 2019 and placed in the Top 10. Her last pageant was Miss Universe Thailand 2021 in Pattaya where she ended up as first runner-up to the winner Anchilee Scott-Kemmis.

 

On Tuesday, August 29, Tharina posted a few photos on social media with the caption "Road to Miss Thailand World 2023" and tagged the official Miss World page.

 

The online and physical screenings of aspirants for the upcoming national competition just wrapped up and the official list of contestants has yet to be announced.

 

If she wins the crown, she will be heading to India to represent Thailand at Miss World 2023 later this year.

 

Is this beauty the next Miss Thailand World?
