Pie addiction

Recommended Posts

Just bought 10 in Pattaya to take to the grand kids in Bangkok today.

Also consumed 1 traditional pie, plus sausage roll and 1 apple pie.

That's what happens when you only eat them about once a year, get consumed with thoughts of eating a pie topped with dead horse.

Back to Issan diet coming up.... hot tongue and cold shoulder.

Fattening? No sauce, no bread. Not really fattening.

I guess the crust of your pies is made fairy dust instead of wheat flour. Perhaps the shortening used to make it was from WeightWatchers?

I'll never understand why some people think that if you change the 'shape' of a food, it changes its properties...

It depends on your whole diet. No sauce, no bread, no chips, no coke.

A pie only diet is not fattening and neither is a hamburger only diet.

The body needs fat and can process carbs if not to much.

Very true. What is your BMI?

IMO the best pie I ever had was a steak and onion pie from Bertoldo's Bakery in Griffith, New South Wales.

Kettles Cafe in Denmark, West Australia had the best pies.  I was doing some property development there and could not resist a pie every time I had to go into town.  Steak and mushroom or steak and kidney were the best.

If anybody's in Udon there is a great pie shop opposite side but down the road from Makro.  Villa there also stock same pies.

I have no idea mate. You sound skinny and weak though.

Nah... right in the middle of the 'correct weight/height ratio.'  Perhaps you're a bit short for your weight?

We wouldn't want you to go around uninformed, especially about your health, so I'll repost the link to find your BMI. Then, because your pies don't increase your girth, you can prove it to us easily... but I doubt you will. So we will continue to envision you rather obese.

Yes, discredited as a measurement of 'health.'
Not discredited as a measurement of optimum weight/height ratio.

What's yours?

You and I weren't discussing health. We were discussing your obesity.
Is it time to change your name to เกี๊ยวใหญ่ ?
