exactly

Pies are the best at making you fat, i avoid them, but i know they can taste really nice

Had some apple fritters at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital today, the only thing that was open.

Like tempura mushy apples. A one and done, but very satisfying (90 baht for four small ones).

Just pies.....

No filling. no brand, fruit pies, savoury pies, pork pies..........or one of each?

Beef

Beef n cheese

IMO the best pie I ever had was a steak and onion pie from Bertoldo's Bakery in Griffith, New South Wales.

That must be home made then.......not one of the regular concoctions.

I thought you meant a proper pie:-

Had lamb curry too.

Fattening? No sauce, no bread. Not really fattening.

Cornish pasties can go down rather well too.

Back in the day, a group of about 10 of us with big bikes, 1,000cc and upwards during winter, would ride for an hour and a half, 1st through the National Park then back onto the freeway to a place called Robertson on the south coast, just for a pie and a sausage roll.

If we got there past 10am, the lines would be 6 deep and 4 wide.

You found a pie in Thailand?  What was it pork and condensed milk?

Anyone know if those Slobarts pork pies are any good from Tops?

Or perhaps expand a little into cornish pasties.

Best I've had in Thailand at UN Irish pub.

Plenty of beef and veg and well seasoned, hot, 95Baht,

But for 120Baht comes with nice side salad.

Or floating on a bed of nice hot peas, price can't remember.

Are we really as lonely on this planet, that we must start this many silly threads. "Pie addiction"???

But eat your pies! Nobody cares! The question is just why you do not try some descent food?
