Prubangboy
Had some apple fritters at Chiang Mai Ram Hospital today, the only thing that was open. Like tempura mushy apples. A one and done, but very satisfying (90 baht for four small ones).

Lacessit
IMO the best pie I ever had was a steak and onion pie from Bertoldo's Bakery in Griffith, New South Wales.

Back in the day, a group of about 10 of us with big bikes, 1,000cc and upwards during winter, would ride for an hour and a half, 1st through the National Park then back onto the freeway to a place called Robertson on the south coast, just for a pie and a sausage roll. If we got there past 10am, the lines would be 6 deep and 4 wide. 1

Best I've had in Thailand at UN Irish pub. Plenty of beef and veg and well seasoned, hot, 95Baht, But for 120Baht comes with nice side salad. Or floating on a bed of nice hot peas, price can't remember.
