In Chaiyaphum, a fierce blaze erupted, causing chaos in the city center on October 20 at 19:15. The fire, requiring over two hours of intensive efforts from emergency services, resulted in damage estimated at 10 million baht.

Emergency services, led by Mayor Theewara Witnakan, launched an extensive operation, deploying more than 10 fire trucks.

The cause of the fire is suspected to be an electrical short circuit in an older cut-out system, as revealed by the store owner, Worathep Chaibutr. Thankfully, the store had closed at 17:00, so no casualties occurred.

With the fire now extinguished,a thorough investigation is underway to determine its exact cause and evaluate safety protocols to prevent such incidents in the future. The destruction highlights the pressing need for improved fire safety measures in densely populated commercial areas.
