bamnutsak Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 On/about 21 October 2023 I seem to be unable to utilize the SCB Bill Pay feature within the SCB app. I was able to pay a bill on 20 Oct, I can transfer, pay by QR code, and add value to a prepaid SIM, in other words, most features work. But when I try to pay a bill (AIS Fibre in this case, with a longstanding saved account) I am greeted with the following message... Unable to proceed We cannot process this transaction at the moment OK I can pay this current bill via the Bangkok Bank mobile app. There was a new terms and conditions message on 21 Oct, but I don't see anything in there re: bill pay. Is anyone else experiencing any recent issues with SCB Bill Pay?
bamnutsak Posted October 26, 2023 Author Posted October 26, 2023 (edited) Problem resolved Main screen My Debit & ATM Cards Press on Debit & ATM Cards You should see a representation of your ATM/Debit cards Press "Services" See Block Online Payment section block/unblock domestic online payment block/unblock international online payment For some reason, both of these were set to Block. I un-Blocked domestic online payments. All is good. It's weird because the app updated Sep 18, but I paid an online bill on 20 Oct. So it wasn't some new version default setting. And I didn't change this setting myself; I didn't even know there was a menu tree buried there. Edited October 26, 2023 by bamnutsak
