    @farrolDon't see why this would be a problem, they issued new notes since King Rama 9 passed away, and they have new "plastic" versions of the 20 and 50. All the old notes are still in circulatio

  • No problem at all with the notes and coins. Even now it is not unusual to get the occasional Rama 9 banknote. Coins are a mixture of Rama 9 and Rama 10.

My wife launders my money often, and adds softener :giggle: The first time I came across plastic notes was yonks ago in OZ 'coz they would go swimming/surfing with money in their pockets, Not sure if now but Thai bank notes were made in the UK.

They can handglide, wind surf, and be used as a straw apparently to suck up something in your nose so I've been told.
