Cambodian woman arrested for Samsung Galaxy theft on BTS Skytrain in Bangkok

A 31 year old Cambodian woman was arrested for stealing a mobile phone from a South Korean passenger on the BTS Skytrain in Bangkok. The woman admitted to selling the stolen Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for 1,500 baht.

Violent death of American tourist in Phuket probed by local police after grim discovery

Police and Forensic officers examined the hotel room in which the US-born Costa Rican dual citizen had stayed since August 30th near Bang Tao Beach in Phuket. The decomposing body of the American was found on Monday and removed to Vachira Phuket Hospital for an autopsy as police investigate the death.


The American citizen of Costa Rican heritage arrived at the end of August and had intended to stay at least until the end of November.

Chiang Mai models stir the pot, accuse event organiser of robbery

A group of models and presenters in Chiang Mai province descended upon San Kamphaeng Police Station at 9am today to complain to an event organiser allegedly named Daeng. The group accused him of failing to pay for their services at a coffee launch event.

Thai lottery fraudster nabbed for 180 million baht scam

Law enforcement officers today, led by Colonel Santichai Srisawad, in conjunction with Major General Montree Teskan, arrested a 40 year old woman in connection with Thai lottery fraud. The suspected woman was a reputed figure in the Thai lottery scene.

A 35 year old man, known for being a heavy drug user, has been apprehended by locals in Udon Thani after he attempted to steal power cables, causing a blackout in four houses.

THE APPEALS Court this morning (Nov. 2) upheld a verdict to dismiss a case against Mr. Sondhit Limthongkul, co-founder of now defunct People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD), commonly known as Yellow Shirts, and 20 other members on charges of using force and violence to cause chaos and revolt by besieging and obstructing Parliament to pressure former prime minister Samak Sundaravej to resign and obstructing a parliamentary meeting to prevent his replacement, prime minister Somchai Wongsawat, from announcing his policy statement in 2008, Naewna newspaper said.
