On November 4, a report came in that Police Captain Kwanphol Pengduen, alongside other tourist police patrol officers, were conducting routine checks at key tourist areas and surveillance points within their jurisdiction.

The checks aimed to prevent acts of terrorism, ensure public safety, and bolster tourists' confidence, reported Siam Rath.

They also communicated with local businesses and public transport drivers to remain vigilant for any suspicious individuals and to adhere to COVID-19 prevention measures.

During their patrol, upon reaching the Supachalasai Stadium's exercise grounds, they encountered an individual experiencing convulsions due to a heatstroke.

The officers immediately administered first aid, performing muscle stretches, applying cold compresses, and using ammonia inhalants to revive the person.

Once the individual regained consciousness, the police coordinated with the emergency hotline 1669 to transport the patient to Chulalongkorn Hospital for further medical assistance.
