The students of Ban Pa Had School in Pua district, Nan province, were left disappointed when a promised donation and lunch treat failed to materialise.

The school posted a message on its Facebook page showing the children rehearsing a thank you performance for the donor, who had pledged to provide educational funds, gifts, and fried chicken for the pupils.

The school’s post read, “The children of Ban Pa Had School were eagerly waiting for the kind-hearted individual who promised to treat them to KFC. They were excited to receive winter jackets and were rehearsing their performance in anticipation of the donor’s arrival on the third day. But no one came. It’s heartbreaking to see them being deceived like this. What did they do to deserve this?”

The individual, who claimed to be a female pharmacist, had contacted the school offering to donate and had subsequently made her Facebook profile private.

Don't promise if you can't fulfill and besides that.. sorry for th kids, but it is not a real missing.. education material maybe a colorpage or a small booklet with games and KFC is delicious but expensive and fried even unhealthy.. So practice your thank you and keep it for someone who will do what they promise but don't believe everything

Sounds like farang who promises a life in London to a Teerak and instead takes her to Kent

Could be worse and ended up in freezing Scotland.

Not sure why the school would tell all the children of "The Promise"

Best wait until it is fulfilled.

So they could practice the 'thank you'.
