Carabao-Red Sun hops into the ring to challenge Thai beer titans Singha and Chang

Featured Replies

I usually buy a box of Tapper, better than the big three, but I bought a bottle of Singha Reserve and its even better. The shop where I buy booze has now started selling Carabao dark and light, tried the light and it's very palatable, looking forward to trying their dark stout. Cheers.

  • Singha and Chang both taste horrible, I've come to the conclusion that Thai's drink to get drunk, not because they like the taste of beer.

  • its popularity will depend on mostly 1 thing... the price. thais dont have the finesse, nor the palate to distinguish and enjoy a good beer

  • Hey Watson, do you eat food to get fat? If you can't drink alcohol without getting drunk, you might wish to visit your local AA.

It's not really a stout, more a dark lager

I've just had one of those Tapper XTra beers.  Very drinkable I must say.

Now onto a Dunkel,  it's cold and wet and going down a treat in today's 35 degree heat.

I like it cause it's not a gassy as some others, but I don't mean it's flat either.  Hmmm maybe this will become my new tipple.
