The Thai Labour Ministry has sent the DNA samples of 35 Thai nationals, who have been listed as missing, to Israel to assist in the identification of remains.

Thai Foreign Minister Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara posted on X that there are about 200 bodies that are yet to be identified in Israel, adding “It is believed that the unidentified bodies are those of Asians. That’s why Israel asked our side to send DNA samples of Thai nationals still missing, to compare with the remains.”

He did not reveal the total number of Thais still listed as missing.
