Two men, one from Cameroon and the other from Myanmar, have been arrested for alleged involvement in the murder of a Taiwanese man found dead in a Bangkok hotel room last week. He had been bound and gagged and police suspect he was tortured.

The Phuket Express reports that a 21 year old Burmese man and 40 year old Cameroon citizen have been arrested in the Bang Na district of the capital. The Phra Khanong Criminal Court had issued arrests for the unnamed men, on suspicion of being involved in an intentional murder.

It’s understood the Burmese has admitted to the charge, explaining that he applied for an online job and an unnamed Thai woman instructed him to follow someone and provide her with information, saying he would be paid for doing so.

An arrest warrant has now been issued for the woman, who the Metropolitan Police have named as Napassarada Eakpattarahiran. The authorities have released her photograph, calling on the public to help find her. Meanwhile, police searching the room of the Taiwanese victim have found two safes containing lots of fake US banknotes. They also found a counterfeiting machine.

This sounds like an episode of The Saint or Sam Spade.
