Everything seems to work fine now with my new Windows Vista (genuine). Even compatibility issues have been solved.

Only one problem:

Why is the clock so super slow?

Loses up to 40 min. in one day!

I have to manually synchronize everyday (or every few hours) with internet time because it automatically synchronizes only once a week!

Never had such problems with XP.

Is this a RAM problem or what? :o

Note: It's on a laptop which is brand new, with genuine Vista.

This is a long-shot but... check to be sure that your clock is set to the right time zone.

There is a registry hack to force your PC to poll and sync with the internet time server more often. That will keep your time set right but doesn't really address the underlying issue as to why it is losing so much time.
