ICE vs EV, the debate thread
As BYD starts to implement their solid state battery technology (they've already started testing it in BYD Seal models) it seems two of the main objections of EV sceptics could be poised to disappear - range anxiety and charging time. BYD is testing solid-state EV batteries in its Seal sedan with nearly 1,200 miles of range https://electrek.co/2025/06/20/byd-tests-solid-state-batteries-seal-ev-with-1000-miles-range/ -

That's different to your first explanation. I am now, much more, in agreement with your thoughts. -

Report Public Health Minister Raids Cannabis Shops Over Cannabis-Infused Sweets
Picture courtesy of Thai Rath Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsuthin spearheaded a surprise raid on 20 cannabis shops in Bangkok yesterday. The operation discovered illicit sales of jelly and chocolates infused with unapproved cannabis, following a directive from Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra to halt illegal drug distribution. During the inspection, two shops in Sukhumvit Soi 33/1 were caught selling cannabis-infused products without FDA approval. The shops, Buddha’s Kush Street and Cannabis X, are now under scrutiny. Way2weed (W2W) failed to provide a proper operations report, resulting in a temporary suspension of their licence for seven days. Authorities are testing these products to ensure the THC content doesn’t exceed the legal limit of 0.2%. If the products do surpass this threshold, further charges will be pursued. Since the decriminalisation of marijuana last year, regulations require shops to report client use to control youth exposure to drugs. Picture courtesy of Thai Rath This enforcement aligns with efforts to combat the distribution of psychotropic substances such as Rohypnol and Kratom leaves. Although some speculate about political motivations behind the raids, Minister Somsak affirmed that the actions are unrelated to the recent political reshuffle. Cannabis-related enterprises have had to navigate legal challenges since Thailand loosened restrictions. Any violation of these regulations could mean severe repercussions for businesses in the sector. The situation remains under observation as authorities continue to enforce compliance with the law to ensure public safety and uphold health standards. I'm not sure what point you're trying to make. As I said, the Kuy language name that the people themselves use, is Kuy. Suay is an exonym (used mainly by Thai people) to refer to them. It's very similar to the names used for the various hill tribes - the tribes call themselves by one name, the Thais use a different name (again, an exonym). I don't believe anything I have said contradicts what you're saying. -

Cases of Constipation and Hemorrhoids in Thailand?
You should try to eat light food and by light food I mean less meat, because then your bowel movements will be softer and fewer hemorrhoids will form. I had the same problem, but after I changed my diet, my problem improved. One way to remove hemorrhoids is to have them clamped by the doctor, but I didn't let it get that far. Thai food is very meat-heavy, but there are also many alternatives...
