Royal Thai Navy Rescues 21 People on a Boat in Songkhla

Songkhla – The Royal Thai Navy rescued 21 people which included three foreigners after a boat engine malfunctioned in Songkhla.


The Royal Thai Navy Second Area Command reported that on Monday (November 27th) at 10:10 A.M. they were notified from a boat in distress conducting scientific surveys that there were 21 people on the boat in total, 15 were boat crew members, one teacher, two students from the Faculty of Fisheries at a university in Songkhla and three unidentified foreigners.

 

The boat had originally departed from a pier in Songkhla on November 23rd.

So how were they rescued did they just tow it back or did they take on the passengers? Going by the water discharge it looks like the engine was running, or was it a steering failure?
