Tourists flock to capture vibrant graffiti art selfies along the mural-lined streets of Nakhon Ratchasima, showcasing the skills of over 30 graffiti artists from across the country.

This artistic spectacle, spanning the longest stretch in the Isaan region, unfolded near the "Nakhon Chai Transport" tour bus depot on Chaiyaphum Road in the city center of Nakhon Ratchasima, reported INN.

The excitement ensued after the Facebook page "Korat City Sivit Sai" unveiled the activities of the graffiti group, "K-BATTLE GRAFF JAM 2023," drawing participants from both Thai and international locales, totaling over 30 individuals.

Under the theme "DAY OF FUTURE, DAY OF UNITY," artists transformed the walls lining Chaiyaphum Road into a canvas extending over 150 meters, creating the longest-lasting contemporary graffiti landmark in the Isaan region.

Additional artwork adorned electric transformer boxes along Maha Thai Road, erasing traces of previous vandalism with vibrant graffiti.

This event, supported by the Contemporary Arts and Culture Office, Ministry of Culture, attracted a social media buzz, prompting tourists like Ms. Ananya Khamnet, 31, and Mr. Julius Sistrat, 31, a Thai-foreigner couple from Bangkok, to embark on a graffiti-inspired journey to Nakhon Ratchasima.

Ananya expressed her enthusiasm for the unique street art style, especially the challenge of capturing images on such extensive walls.

Preparations for their December 30th wedding and desire for pre-wedding photos led the couple to explore the city's street art scene. Julius, particularly drawn to digital currency symbols blended with digital age aesthetics, found the graffiti captivating.

He extended an invitation to art enthusiasts, ensuring a visit to Nakhon Ratchasima would be a rewarding experience for all.
