Phuket –A Russian man allegedly caused a public disturbance near a well-known beach in Thalang over the past weekend, but everything turned out fine in the end.

The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that over the past weekend they were notified from local residents that a foreign man was disturbing the public with loud noises and shouting near a large hotel at the Nai Yang Beach in the Sakoo sub-district.

They arrived at the scene to find an unidentified heavyset middle-age Russian man wearing a singlet and shorts and no shoes. He was found talking loudly alone to himself, seemingly having an animated discussion to himself in Russian. However, he was still able to calm down and communicate to police cognizantly when they talked to him in English and Thai and he did not seem to be threatening or hurting anyone.

There are so many mentally ill people among us, we never know. Most of them remain undetected until something happens.

We're all mad as hatters.

It's a universal consequence of being human.
