Mobile Prices

My phone packed in yesterday after I got soaked in a heavy rainstorm. I need to buy a new one. What can I get for 1500฿ or less? Obviously I don't care about any frills. New or second-hand. Can anyone kindly advise me of prices?

Both Samsung and LG have very cheap phones. Not ugly looking either, color screen etc...

I bought an LG KG110 for my maid a little while back, about 1390 Baht in Lotus I think. Lotus tend to have several promotions on these basic models, so cheap thay have to limit it to one phone per customer!

Big C might do the same, although I seem to recall that mobile phones inside BigC are sold by some kind of franchised shop...

The Nokia 1112i cost around 1400 Baht (interesting detail is that it uses the same battery as the Nokia 6630)

A original Nokia 6630 battery alone cost +/-1700 Baht.....

Downside of buying a black and white Nokia 1112i, the battery is very good....you may forget where you have the charger...

Thank you. Looks like there's no point going for a second-hand model any more. Right I'll be going shopping today.

Briggsy: If you are in Bangkok - you can't go past MBK for price and variety.
