webfact Posted December 29, 2023 Share Posted December 29, 2023 On December 27th, 2023, Mrs. Radklao Inthawong Suwankiri, the Deputy Spokesperson for the Prime Minister’s Office, publicly revealed a New Year gift from the Thai Ministry of Transport regarding complimentary travel on motorways and expressways. The free service of motorways are as follows: Highway number 7 (Bangkok-Chang Buri) and Highway number 9, the outer ring road around Bangkok (Kanchanaphisek Road) from Bang Pa-in to Bang Phli and from Phra Pradaeng to Bang Khae, including the Phra Pradaeng-Bang Khun Thian elevated section. Additionally, free service will be available on the expressways: Buraphawithi, Kanchanaphisek (Bang Phli-Suk Sawat), and the elevated expressway (elevated expressway level 1, Srirat, and Uthararat) for a total of 7 days, from December 28th, 2023, at 12:01 AM to January 3rd, 2024, at 12:00 AM.
