Starmer Defends Decision to Deny Compensation for Waspi Women Amid Backlash
It’s odd to use the term ‘Women Against State Pension Inequality’ in a campaign for compensation for the outcome of having unequal State pension rights removed. The complaint that many lost out because they stopped working before pension age is bizarre. Starmer and Labour were wield Ted on the basis of the Labour Party Manifesto, which makes no mention of this issue. And we can’t have him being flush with ‘other people’s money’ can we?! -

Thai Cabinet Rejects Proposal to Abolish Capital Punishment
Just think of all of the husbands, wives and children killing each other and the people that run over people and leave, just turn themselves in to try to get their sentence reduced. They should not pass go and be a burden on the system. I believe that murders, serial sex abusers, and the likes should be once removed from the system. Just imagine if it was your family. For those don’t want it maybe you can pay towards their room and board. The other option may be once the guilty verdict is reached with no doubt in the evidence, the family should decide to either let them continue to live in prison and possibly get out, or be put to the chair immediately. -

Thailand Unveils E-Visa System, Streamlining Travel for 2025
Don't see why - my last 2 tourist visas from UK have been e-Visas. No longer needed now the visa-exempt period is 60 days for UK passport holders, but it worked well and the turnaround was less than a week. As @Caldera noted, this is not new, merely an extension to more countries.
