The authorities have discovered 7.5 kilograms of heroin concealed in a seat cushion and heading for Australia.

Khirisak Tantinawachai, commander-in-chief of the Narcotics Suppression unit, says police were alerted by a young Thai woman who is studying in Australia.

The woman had posted on social media, offering to transport items on her upcoming return flight to Australia. She then received a payment of 3,500 baht from a man who asked her to transport what he said was a “woman’s purse”.

Which of course is highly illegal.

At least the reference to an Australian airhostess involved doesn't appear in this version as it did in the last one by another news outlet, as it was complete BS.
