Cycling Khao Yai NP

Featured Replies

Anyone ever cycled Khao Yai from south to north?

Trying to find information on the climbs.

We are cycling with fully packed tourbikes.

Definitively no climbers, but when needed we go for it.

As long as it is doable.

Is it?

Here is the video of motorcycling routes in Khao Yai which can be used as cycling routes too:

I used to regularly bike Khao Yai in both directions. I would Usually start out in Pak Chong, ride through the park to Prachinburi, spend a night in Prachinburi, and then ride back to Pak Chong.  south to north might be somewhat easier, as the ascent to the Visitor Center ,although longer, is gentler. The steepest part is approaching the Center from the north .
