A Chinese-funded warehouse was raided and counterfeit cosmetics and hair straightening products were seized. These fraudulent products, sold online, resulted in significant hair loss for many consumers. The operation revealed that the warehouse was selling an astonishing 3 million units per month.

Witthaya Sriprasertphap, an officer from the Royal Thai Police, along with Anuwat Rakcharoen, Chattha Nakkaew, Weeraphong Klaithong, and Veerachai Nalawachai from the Food and Drug Administration, announced the results of their operation against the Chinese-funded warehouse.

The warehouse, located in Bang Bon District, was selling counterfeit hair straightening products through an online platform. The operation was initiated following a viral video on the Facebook page Want to be Famous, We’ll Make It Happen Return part 6, showing consumers suffering from extreme hair loss after using the counterfeit product purchased from the TikTok application.

The investigation led to the discovery of a warehouse in Bang Bon Nuea Subdistrict, Bang Bon District, which was used to store and distribute the products. Upon searching the premises, officials found more than 10,000 counterfeit cosmetics pieces, worth over 400,000 baht. Alya, the caretaker of the premises, was arrested, and the counterfeit products were seized.

Happy to see this kind of thing in the news, my guess is that there are countless Chinese scams going on and a lot of them are likely sponsored by the CCP. The Chinese government is up to no good and they probably have agents working around the world trying to sow chaos and earn cash.

Now I know who is selling the counterfeit Neo Hair Lotion which is bought from Alibaba at the price of $0.80 per bottle and being sold on Shopee and Lazada, as well as Ebay and Amazon!

It may contain an undeclared ingredient, a prescription-only drug called MINOXIDIL

Alcohol and propylene glycol present in some topical preparations may dry the scalp, resulting in dandruff and contact dermatitis.

Neo Hair Lotion has been an extremely popular product recently.

The fact is that almost 90% of this product available in the market is counterfeit.

How to distinguish the original Neo Hair Lotion from the counterfeit one?

The counterfeit Neo Hair Lotion is being sold on Amazon and eBay as well.

We have bought the original Neo Hair Lotion directly from Green Wealth corporation in Thailand and then we also bought 2 samples of the counterfeit Neo Hair Lotion from 2 different suppliers in Thailand. We have compared them side by side. Now we can reveal the truth.

First, measure the height of the box.

The original Neo Hair Lotion box height is exactly 129 mm, while the counterfeit Neo Hair Lotion box height is 127 mm.

It means that the height of the original Neo Hair Lotion box is about 2 millimeters larger than the counterfeit one.

The shelf life (the period of time between the date of manufacture and the date of expiry) indicated on the product box is different. The counterfeit Neo Hair Lotion is claimed to have the shelf life of 3 years, while the original Neo Hair Lotion has the shelf life of 2 years.

Next examine the color of the box.

Take a look at the left or right side of the box.

The original Neo Hair Lotion box on both left and right sides is colored with a green color gradient that is quite prominent and clearly visible. On the original product box, the dynamic range of the color gradient is much larger, the two stop colors being quite different.

On the counterfeit product, the two stop colors of the gradient are very close to each other. As a result, the overall color is much darker than the one on the original product box. The original product box side color on the top is green-yellow, while the counterfeit product box side color on the top is green.

On the whole, the side of the box of counterfeit product has much darker green color than the box of the original product.

The easiest way to distinguish the original Neo Hair Lotion from the counterfeit one is by examining the style of the plastic film wrapping.

The counterfeit product box is wrapped with a cheap shrink-wrapping film, with ugly seams clearly visible on 3 sides of the box. On the other hand, the original product box is neatly wrapped with a high-quality shrink-wrap film in an “envelope style”. What does it mean? It means that there are envelope style folds of the wrapping film on both top and bottom of the product box. Only the original product has this kind of fold wrapping with shrink-wrap film, because the fold wrapping machines are very expensive. Only a large factory can afford buying this kind of product wrapping machines.

If the price is right it sells... Thailand loves cheap.
