A 28-year-old Thai man in Chonburi is appealing for the return of his stolen motorbike, which he had purchased just one month ago.

On February 18th, 2024, the victim, Mr. Anoph Tepran, spoke to local media about the thief that stole his Honda Wave 125i motorbike from a building located in Naklua, Banglamung, Chonburi.

According to CCTV footage, the incident occurred on February 17th. Presumably after loading the bike onto the car? (Pick-up?)  Pattaya Plod are on the job and expected an arrest from their list of 1,324,408 suspects living locally.

When items are stolen in Thailand  motorbikes are sold to 'chopshops'  and broken down for spares. Other items are sold to pawn shops. The police never take action for receiving stolen goods to these places. This encourages theft as the thief has a ready cash market for stolen goods without questions or paperwork.
