PHANG-NGA, Feb 29 (TNA) – Over the past weekend, tourists flocked to Yao Yai Island, especially Cape Beach, which has been ranked as the 21st best beach in the world by the World Beach Guide, UK.

 

“Cape Beach” is one of the top tourist destinations on Yao Yai Island, renowned for its beauty. It is a small cape nestled between Yao Yai and Yao Noi Islands, with clean white sand gradually emerging amidst the clear blue sea.

The Bangkok or Hua Hin garbage dumps at the shores have hopefully not (yet) polluted these lovely areas. But mass tourism definately will do so soon.

Tourists or 10,000 TikTokers boasting how they've found paradise? They make me laugh some of those Thai TikTok vids, but I guess they're making money.

I was at Koh Yao Noi 20 years ago, when it was one german restaurant there and one atm. Beautiful, and you could kayak around the bay with very little disturbance. Impossible today, but it was nice in Krabi area during covid, with very few long tail boats roaming around.

Was here at Koh Yao Yai in April 2021 for my birthday. Covid time, me and the wife were the only people at the beach....good old times.
