Hi,

I am a British national who has a Thai daughter.

Because of some particular circumstances this year I would like to apply for my Non-O Guardian Visa (supporting my Thai daughter) at the earliest possible opportunity.

I have asked one Thai person to check for me and they said  that the earliest that I can submit my 12 months extension application is 45 days before the expiry of the current one.

Can anyone verify this based on personal experience?

Thanks.

The general rule is 30 days before expiry of your current permission to stay, but there are some (mainly larger) immigration offices that allow 45 days before. If you tell us which immigration office you use, someone can confirm/deny whether you can apply 45 days before.
