The latest in the ‘doctor kicking’ saga.

The Commander of Region 8 Police in Phuket, Pol Lt Gen Surapong Thanomjit has announced that Phuket police have made an official request to the Immigration Police to revoke the visa of 45 year old Urh ‘David’ Fehr – he’s the Swiss citizen who is alleged to have attacked a female Thai doctor at the beachfront step of his villa in Cape Yamu.

Police say that the full name of the man reported as “David” is Mr Urh Beat Fehr.

The Commander deemed the Swiss man to be a threat to the safety and order of the people under Article 12 of the Immigration Act.

I hope that his Visa will NOT be revoked - not because he is a fellow Swiss, BUT because Switzerland does not want him back...

UPDATE: Swiss Expat Accused of Allegedly Kicking Thai Doctor Having his Visa Reviewed by Thai Immigration
By Goongnang Suksawat

Phuket –A legal long-term visa permit for staying in Thailand is to be requested to be revoked for the Swiss expat who allegedly kicked a Thai doctor in a viral incident last month that has dominated Thai media headlines.

Lieutenant Colonel Sarupong Thanomjit, the Region 8 Commander, has disclosed that Mr. David faced a previous incident in December of last year, 2024, related to a road altercation. A viral video captured him appearing to refuse to yield to an ambulance on a road in Phuket and even appearing to gesture rudely with his middle finger.

Subsequently, the ambulance driver lodged a complaint with the police and shared the video on social media. In response, Mr. David also filed a legal report against the driver, alleging that false information had been disseminated online, tarnishing his reputation and causing defamation.

Lieutenant Colonel Sarupong emphasized that Mr. David’s behavior suggests he may have threatened others, posing a risk to both peace and public safety. Mr. David has denied both the kicking incident, saying he slipped, and the alleged ambulance incident, saying it was false information and not the whole story and planned to defend the issues in court.

This man, being smug and full of himself, forgot where he is and that he's a guest in this country that

doesn't tolerate such, 'I'm better than you' type of behaviour towards the locals,

Maybe that will teach him a lesson where ever he will thing to go and retire next...

hahahahaha.

It sounds like he deserves it but then again I'm not thrilled to hear about expats being deported as a general thing. I would have preferred some kind of plan where this man was forced to humiliate himself publicly in a super dramatic way. Lost face for life. I doubt he would reoffend.

Best news I've heard.

Let us know his departing flight, we will wave him goodbye.

The behaviour towards the ambulance was even more disgusting. Sheer cheek of him.

  • Popular Post

The jerk is finally getting what he so much deserves.Ha Ha Ha.,

The article doesn't mention how long he will be banned. Could he come back at some point?

Looks old for 45

  • Popular Post

Really don’t think he will be deported.

He has shown that is a complete richardhead, but he also has money.

It will cost him to stay in the country, the media fuss will move on and things will go back to normal, just hope he is smart enough to learn from these incidents.

It is really easy for anyone sensible to avoid situations like this.

Maybe it should be a lesson for a lot more expats in Thailand, and that includes a few members on this forum, who suffer from their own superiority complex issues, and show the same characteristics in their postings.

Dummy. I just don't understand foreigners who have a bad attitude about living in Thailand and treat the locals with such disdain.

This man is beyond human - how could a human kick another human who was sitting harmlessly? Let alone a lady.
It takes a huge amount of rage n basic distaste for another human life to do this.
A person is known by their fruits - again this was similarly evident when he obstructed the ambulance.
How could he behave like that even if he stays anywhere else in the world ?

As I read it the matter has been referred to Immigration by the Police, for a decision on his visa, which has not been cancelled yet . . .

If Immigration do decide to cancel his Visa, good riddance.

Unlike popular liberal left thinking mitigating events does not change the event that took place... each one stands on it's own... it is so schoolyard to point the finger and say BBBUUT look what Johnny did... equity thinking is the bane of intelligence.
