Phuket Provincial Police posted an announcement on their Facebook page, but didn’t give a reason for the sudden flurry of activity.

Oooh now let me think, while I eat my Toblerone, that's full of nuts.

Bad guys?  I would say ANY Person who frequents a Bar where young girls are offering themselves for payment should be removed from the country ASAP. It is these people who are financing an illegal organization. without these PERVES sex trafficking and underage porn would die out. Plus, RAISE the age for a retirement visa to 65 as that is the age most people retire in their own countries.

Do you go around these bars in disguise as it appears you have a lot of information about what’s going on in 20 years here I have never had a woman come up to me and offer her services to me whist in a bar I have however have in a massage parlour which when I went in seemed a very professional place !

"Also arrested were Russian nationals Tatiana Zaichkina and Timur Tuktalov who have been on overstay since February 1.

In Karon, Australian Carl Ken Haddad was arrested for illegal possession of diazepam, a Category 4 narcotic, while Russian Andrei Alexandrov was arrested at Nai Yang Beach after it was discovered he had overstayed by just one day."

Organised crime most evidently.

This is getting ridiculous now, even Thai people are questioning what's going on, one day overstay you don't even get fined at the airport for one day, most of my neighbours are Thais and one asking me this morning, stupid,

As one said to me they have bigger fish to fry in Thailand catch the real criminals, I would say drugs is a bigger problem in Phuket, they only catch the street dealers,

Police in Phuket have arrested at least 16 people in what appears to be a crackdown on foreigners working illegally and/or overstaying their visas.

Very strange that there is not even a shadow of a Chinese.

The only person consistently uncovering illegal Chinese activity was Chuwit. And now he's gone out of the country to die. So China gets a free ride.
