A passenger in the pickup truck, Mr. Sang, a 45-year-old Laotian national, stated that he witnessed the motorcycle approaching at high speed before colliding with the back of the truck and bursting into flames.

Police are still investigating the exact cause of the accident as of press time

Speed and no attention to the surroundings..

an idiot who is a danger to other peoples, no great loss

It ain't a chopper unless it's chopped. The bike in the OP is a bog standard production bike in cruiser style, nothing chopped about it.

I believe it was the name given to the bike for the kids, us Brits remember it well..😋

Looks like a Honda Rebel 300 to me. That's not a chopper.

Certain words/phrases are triggering for our members. Chopper, big bike, luxury, etc.

Perhaps it will help to realize that the original articles are often written by Thais and reflect the Thai viewpoint and terminology. Thais will call a Honda Rebel 300 a chopper, no matter your foreign pedantry.

I have. They'll call a Honda Phantom a chopper. Ask around.
