Fire At Niran Grand Condo

The firefighters from the fire department and Pattaya Police quickly rushed to Niran Grand Condo located in Soi Arunothai,

Central Pattaya Road, at fifteen past midnight on 23rd July when they were informed that there was a fire in one of the rented rooms.

On arrival the team was told that the fire occurred in room 521/266 of the 9th floor and found a lot of the residents running out as they heard the fire alarm.

Inspecting the room, they found that the fire had been stopped by a security guard who used the condo’s fire extinguisher; only the bed and air-con was burnt.

When questioned it was found that the fire started from lit candles. Apparently a couple that resides in that room lit scented candles and went down to buy some food for a romantic dinner and they forgot to put out the candles before leaving the room.
