The country's first climate change bill, influenced by the 2016 Paris Agreement, will be submitted for cabinet consideration by June. The bill aims to limit national losses from global warming while enhancing Thailand’s resilience during a crisis.


The ministry of Defence intends to reduce its service personnel by 700 over the course of the next three years and undertake a military restructuring, with the aim of  saving up to 34 million baht. The initiative will involve early retirement, aiming to decrease the number of high-ranking officers by 50%, or 380, by 2027. 


A Move Forward Party MP yesterday criticized the performance of the new 'Anti-Fake News Centre', urging for the cut of its 69 million baht funding. adding that the center not only failed to counter fake news effectively but also obscured the truth by forwarding alleged fake news items to relevant agencies for fact-checking. If content could not be verified or agencies opted against its publication, nothing was done..


The State Railway of Thailand will renovate 10 passenger carriages to accommodate people with disabilities, the renovation will focus on ensuring the safety and providing them with user-friendly facilities, they are expected to be in service before the end of April.
