Sean "Diddy" Combs' homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by Homeland Security Investigations agents and other law enforcement officers as part of a possible ongoing sex trafficking investigation, U.S. officials confirmed on Monday.

According to a statement from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), the raids were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, along with local law enforcement partners. Further details about the nature of the investigation were not immediately provided.

Combs has faced multiple sexual assault allegations in recent months. In November of the previous year, two women accused the music mogul of sexual abuse. These allegations emerged shortly after Combs settled a separate lawsuit with the singer Cassie, which contained accusations of rape and physical abuse.

The lawsuits filed by the two women were timed to coincide with the expiration of the Adult Survivors Act, a New York law that allows victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to file civil actions regardless of the statute of limitations.

In response to the raids, Douglas Wigdor, a lawyer representing Cassie, expressed support for law enforcement's efforts to prosecute individuals who have violated the law. He hoped that the raids would hold Combs accountable for his alleged misconduct.

Additionally, in December 2023, another woman accused Combs and two other men of gang raping her in 2003 when she was 17 years old. This accusation was made in civil court documents filed in the United States District Court Southern District of New York under New York City's gender-motivated violence protection law.

In a separate incident, a male music producer filed a lawsuit last month alleging that Combs sexually assaulted him and coerced him into having sex with prostitutes. These allegations add to the growing legal challenges facing the music mogul.
