md92h
Hello good people. I'm Iranian and planning a trip to Thailand in mid-August. There's a chance of visiting another country as well however where and if ever that happens has not been decided. my question is since Iranians can no longer apply for double entry tourist visas , can i apply for a Re-Entry permit? i'm planing for 30 days trip which at least half of will be in Thailand. last time i used a Re-Entry was in 2015 and i don't know if laws have changed specially after covid. Appreciate your help/info.
Crossy
Troll post removed. To answer our OP. I don't think anything has changed; others may be more up to date. Please don't forget that a Re-Entry Permit is only valid until the end of your current permission to stay, it doesn't give any extra time in country.
Popular Post DrJack54
OP, my understanding is that Iranian citizens require a tourist visa for Thailand You could obtain a reentry permit to enable you to exit Thailand and reenter via land or air. Note the reentry permit can be obtained at the airport on day of departure. 2
md92h
@Crossy and @DrJack54 thank you both for your answers. tbh governments tend to change tourist laws every now and then and following rule changes is only matters for me when i want to travel!
