A bit like the RTP and their compulsory skin tight uniform.

What's with that? Must be so uncomfortable in this weather... Oops I forgot, 95% of the time they're in an air con office.

What happened to the new uniform? That was supposed to have been introduced by now.

So despite living here for 20 years; putting two abandoned Thai children through University; buying property/cars for millions; forming friendships; we are not allowed to say: Thai police are corrupt? Street dogs spread disease? Thai roads are dangerous? Thai Safety First practices are non-existent?

If you said that to a Thai, they might say that you didn't have to do all that.

You may think your largess gives you some "rights" in Thailand, but Thais will disagree.

They might even think you are some sort of idiot for not spending your money on yourself ( and of course any Thai family you may have acquired ).

When has Pattaya been (primarily) a domestic nightlife destination?

According to his definition Pattaya has been world class destination from the get-go, and the remarkable worldwide reputation well proves it

I’m not sure you are painting “Thai” people in a very good light with your view of what they might say.
