Hi Friends,

I am an INDIAN and am 31 years old.

I am absolutely blown away by the hospitality and friendliness shown by the Thai people.

I have also seen huge billboards with the pictures of His Majesty the king and am absolutely amazed to know about him and the kind of respect he commands.I have heard all the good things he has done and this leaves no doubt as to why he is revered so much.hats off to his Majesty and long live such people who are so selfless in their act and put their country before everything else.

I do have a Non Immigrant O visa valid for 90 days which I got from the Consulate in my homeland, INDIA and am currently in Bangalore,INDIA and will be coming to Thailand shortly.I have registered my marriage both in INDIA as well as the local Amphur office in Thailand. We have a 7 month old son who was born in Hua Hin,Thailand.

I have close to 600000 baht savings which I will deposit in a local bank in Thailand in my name and my wife has got a job in Phuket which gives her an income of 45000 baht.

I am looking at settling down in Thailand (if possible...fingers crossed) and am looking at a few pointers and advice on whether I will be eligible to stay in Thailand on my wife's support as she is a Thai national. As mentioned I also have a 600000 baht savings.

My son also needs a visa as he has been registered as an Indian citizen. What about the procedure for him?

Looking forward to your kind advice.

Best Regards,

Lokesh

If your wife can show tax payments proving her 45,000 a month income you will be able to get an annual extensionbased on that.

Dont know about your sons situation but others will.

As the mother is Thai, the birth should also be registered with the Thai gov't. Makes it easier for the child later to get passport / id card.
