Again so many words to say so litte... hahaha... nobody reads all your dribel... it's tedious at best... boring at least.

So little, eh?

What you are saying (continually) is you have zero excuse for what trump did. Never.

Oh, and obviously YOU read what I post. Are you a "nobody"?  For once I might have to agree with you there. Just another cult member, unable to answer anything about trump's behavior nor his "policies".

Oh, and the word you wanted was "drivel". Didn't teach you that at your 'accredited university', eh?

It would be such a beautiful thing to witness this goon being locked up, because he could not control himself. He believes himself to be above any and all laws. This is a "witch hunt", after all.

  • Agreed...but unfortunately the max fine is $1000 per violation. 30 days lockup with no phone, no media, no press. Would be grand to muzzle this malevolent freak for a month. He'd implode❗ 🤣

The question which is central to current events is whether Trump is likely to be standing against Biden come November 5, or not ?

As usual, the literacy of your post sadly indicates the level of education of the average Trump supporter.

The gag order is in place because of Trump's record, and actions, of saying and posting things which amount to threats against court officials (and their families) and inevitably the jurors.

No doubt if others were making such threats then they to would be subject to orders.

What is remarkable is that despite breaching the order 9 times, multiple acts of contempt of court, he has been let off with a fine, remarkable compassion!

unfortunately that's the mandatory process that must be followed. First a fine of $1000.00 per breach together with a strong warning that future breaches will land him behind bars. If he breaches teh gag order again, which he will eventually do because he can't keep his big mouth shut, he will probably get put in the court house cell for a max of 3 days. Subsequent breaches will also result in being put behind bars up to a max of 30 days  per breach. This is the process the lawyers who un Meidas Touch are  saying the judge must follow.

I understand he has an inflated ego, but, he was president of the US and because he is not from one of the families, and is a self-made man, no matter how that could be misunderstood. They certainly have got the knives out for him. He certainly needs to keep his mouth shut and allow the lawyers to do their work. If they can get murderers off, then they can certainly get him off, if he stays quiet. Plus the people spoke, made him President and perhaps he would have got a second term, if the powers to be hadn't mixed the pot perhaps, and could he be in for a second term? the people vote, but, behind the scenes, the witch hunt continues.

The judge did say he regretted the financial penalty was not enough for deterrence with a defendant as wealthy as Trump.

Putting Trump in jail was appealable. It's much more difficult to appeal when there is a history of prior convictions.

By convicting Trump of criminal contempt, it also puts him in violation of the bail conditions that are in force with his three other criminal trials.

Hoping and dreaming of this fantasy.

I agree 100%.  Not because I have like or dislike about Trump, my feelings about him are neutral at best.  Nope - it's the Lawfare being wielded against politicians.  This is fun to watch.  Fun in the sense that once the Lawfare Genie is completely out of the bottle in the US, there will be no way to put it back in.  And then?  Let The Games Begin as the US political system and system of justice descends into third-world irrelevance.

But "Oh?"  Ya'll think it stops with just Trump?  Nope.  Lawfare will be the cudgel and the baton used to beat political opponents by whichever Uni-Party Swamp-Critters whom manage to ooze to the reeking surface of the US ruling class.  The US will rip itself apart.
As the USSR's Chief of Secret Police, Lavrentiy Beria said, "Show me the man and I'll find you the crime"

Yeah - I can't wait.  <pops popcorn and grabs a beer>  What those who fail to study history simple never comprehend is that the evil Genie who grants them their wishes today becomes their tormentor tomorrow.  Until then?  Dance in the streets like there is no tomorrow.
"Oh!" And then read the history of the French Revolution.  It's a great example about how "turnabout is fair play."

Trump is not a self-made man. He inherited his money from his father.

The mixing of the pot is mainly in Republican disenfranchisement of minority voters, and the vagaries of the Electoral College.

The people did not speak for him. Trump was beaten in the popular vote in 2016 and 2020.

Witch hunt is the myth put out by Trump supporters and Trump himself. Anything to avoid acknowledging he has been indicted 4 times by grand juries of ordinary citizens.

Try posting something with a grain of truth next time.

However, the consequences for Trump could extend beyond financial penalties, as Judge Merchan has issued a serious warning that further violations could result in incarceration.

Yeah, just do it then. It'll just make Trump more popular as it will be seen as an attempt to silence the GOP candidate for president.

I suspect the secret service might have something to say about that.

The IMO weaponised judicial system is failing to keep Trump from winning and if anything is making him more popular. Roll on November.:cheesy:

Unexpectedly good post.

You are correct, of course. If the Dems use it today the GOP will use it next time.

The US election is already a very very bad joke with 2 ( 3 if one includes the awful Harris ) completely unsuitable candidates for the most powerful position on the planet.

IMO if one wants to look at an example of an "insane" political system, one needs look no further than the US.

Ah, yes, to the maga-crowd, facts are known as 'dribble'.. unless, of course, the facts conform to their bias. Then facts are, once again, believable...

Well that imagined outcome sounds troubling until we reflect on the actual arguments made by Trump’s legal team that a President would have the right to order the assassination of of a political rival and/or order the military to undertake a coup and it would all be perfectly legal.

The gag order will be reversed on appeal.

I'm voting for Taylor Swift POTUS 2024.

In the meanwhile, Democrats work overtime to get Trump in jail (which will simply backfire imho), and both sides of the Uni-Party want to eviscerate the First Amendment protections of free speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of the (alternative) press, and freedom of religion (Muslims bad) on college and university campuses (government funded educational institutions ARE public institutions where First Amendment protections apply but send in the National Guard - Remember Kent State?) and Gen-Z students find their political teeth and protest genocide in Palestine - just like anti-war, Boomer vets like myself protested against the Vietnam War.  Remember the 1968 Democratic Convention?  I do.  Aug 19 - 24 in Chicago is going to be a very interesting historical "rhyme."

Then come November 2024:  Trump in prison (Orange man is the New Orange) and Gen-Z in near revolt?

Break out the popcorn and keg and party like it's 2099!

If he was a Democrat this wouldn't be happening at all. All made up by the social communist. Communist have been using this tactic against their opponents for hundreds of years. God bless Trump.  The only leader that cares about his country in the not so free world.
