Is this border hop still available to get a new 30 day visa exemption? Anyone with recent experience of the process?

50-100 baht/seat 1 way,  500-1,000 for the whole  boat r/t
$10 for Burma stamp

Inflation, as don't remember paying more than 300 baht, for whole boat.  More than a few years, but petrol wasn't 35-40 baht either.

So thats the only 2 payments for the whole run? The $10 for Myanmar stamp and the longtail. No other costs ? Does Thai immigration require proof of accommodation for 30 days , TM30 and onward ticket?

Hello, I would like to know the answer to these questions also.  I've been reading about this border hop and seems to be some bad experiences.  Has anyone done it recently?  Were they required to show proof of accomodation and Onward ticket?  Many thanks
