DMS Launches New Home Testing Kits for Cervical Cancer

The Thai Department of Medical Sciences (DMS) is urging women between the ages of 30 and 60 to regularly get screened for cervical cancer. This comes after reports reveal that around 10 million sexually active Thai women have never been tested for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV), which is a leading cause of cervical cancer.

Father and Children Seriously Injured After Car Hits Guardrail in Pattaya

Netflix Stand-up Comedian Criticized for Misinterpreting Thai Philosophy

Sonthiya Sawasdee, a former advisor to the Parliamentary Commission on Law, Justice, and Human Rights, has lodged a complaint against Udom Taepanich, famously known as Nose, over his Netflix stand-up comedy special named Diew Special Super Soft Power. Sawasdee alleges that the content of the program might contain misleading content on Thailand's Sufficiency Economy philosophy.

Police crack down on a 21 million baht investment scheme

A 25-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly running a fraudulent investment scheme. She pretended to be a famous stock market expert, causing victims to lose over 21 million baht. The woman, known as Prakaikaew, was taken into custody today, May 7, at a house in the Uthai area of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya province.

An American man, wanted in the US for sexual offenses, has been arrested in Bangkok

An American man named Selva Delano Mudaliar was taken into custody by Thai police in Bangkok's Bang Phlat district yesterday. The man was previously on the run after being charged with multiple sex offenses in the United States.
