Commen sense, you do not stay during the burning season, and for me, it is to cold up north to live during the coldest months. Isaan is great during the dry season, until the burning season starts, and then off to a beach destination/Island. North is best at the end of the rain season for a few months while it is still humid and green, and the hot season is best spent in Northern Europe. Too old to worry about 20-30 years in the future, doubt I'll see another 5. This years smokey season didn't really bother me.
